How to Recreate an Outlook OST file in Microsoft Outlook 2010

When we use an Exchange account, all the mailboxes and emails are stored in mail server. When user wants to work offline when it is not connected to Exchange server, the outlook provides an offline mode or cached exchange mode to the user to work in offline. This offline was facilitating by the OST file in Outlook application. In outlook exchange mode, a copy of emails and other mailboxes are saved in Offline Data file (OST) in outlook.
Outlook Data File (OST):
While In the offline mode, Outlook OST files saves all data of particular outlook profile. To make the data identical OST files are synchronised with Exchange mailbox when exchange connection is established with the outlook. Back up OST is not necessary because OST is a mirror image of Exchange mailbox. When necessary, outlook can create from Exchange mailbox.
Synchronization Errors in MS outlook 2010:
Even after the synchronization, you may find missing of data or inaccessible in outlook OST file or Exchange Mailbox. Steps to Recreate OST file in Outlook 2010:

1) Firstly exit from the outlook application then start outlook to create a new OST file copy.
2) Then open the Control Panel and double click on the mail option
3) Mail setup box will launch with the name of the present profile and click on E-mail account.
Note: To change a different profile click on show profile selects the profile and select properties.

4) Click on E-mail tab in account settings and select Exchange account and then click Change.
5) Click on Use Cached Exchange Mode checkbox and then click on more settings.
6) Click Offline Folder File Settings which is on the advanced tab.
7) Check Disable Offline Mode and Select the More settings.
8) Click on Offline Folder File Settings again and click OK.
9) Click Yes.
10) Choose the Use Cached Exchange Mode check box under Cached Exchange Mode Settings.
11) Click OK then click Next and click finish.
12) Close the account settings window.

The above manual steps are difficult if the OST file size is large and is highly corrupted.
